about

this is a self produced ep.

flowers will grow is about how there is still light in the dark, even though it's raining, flowers will grow. even if it's raining metaphorically in your mind, you're still this beautiful thing able to be good, and kind, and cultivate growth in the difficult, dark days of life. just because it's difficult, doesn't mean we back down. we are still rooted in who we are and what we want to become.

sweet sorrow is a vague portrayal of the darkness felt when something goes wrong...or something. it can be whatever you want it to be.

these two songs were made with a lot of love and desperation to push myself into putting my words for people to hear. being a private person it is at times, difficult to share my true thoughts and words.

Track Name: Flowers Will Grow
I don’t have the words
I don’t have the words

To make this be ok
I don’t have the words

But I think you’re too good to be real.

I’m tired of this place
this waste of space
I’m running from the monsters in my mind
the one’s who don’t want me to stay alive

But I won’t let them win
oooh

Let me fall asleep in your heart
I’ll pick up the broken parts
we’ll mend all that’s been torn
with blanket forts we’ll weather the storm

But don’t forget rain makes flowers grow

oooh (3x)

the flowers will grow.
Track Name: Sweet Sorrow
oh, oh my god
what have I done
sun bruises skin
then darkness fell into my hands

whose face will I
try to hide behind
I don't deserve
the love you give me

set me free, from this cage, call me home

ooh

my sweet sorrows
shadows in my eyes
let me occupy your mind
like you do mine
like you do mine
